Good architecture begins with the place

We work with housing, cabins, commercial buildings and transformation. Each project develops from the landscape, the existing buildings and the conditions each place offers.

The studio’s practice includes replacement cabins in the archipelago, adaptive architecture in fragile landscapes and work with listed buildings and historic settings. Common to all is a search for architecture that brings new qualities to a place while building on its own identity.

From the first analysis to the finished building we work towards the same goal: simple, precise and lasting solutions where idea, materials, structure and detailing form a whole.
